"Will Friedle and Rider Strong, former stars of Boy Meets World, share insights from their time on the ABC series alongside Brian Peck in the latest episode of the Pod Meets World podcast. Peck,
known for his roles as an actor and dialogue coach on various children's TV shows, made guest appearances in two episodes during Season 5 of the beloved coming-of-age sitcom, which aired on ABC from 1993 to 2000."
"On the February 19 episode of the Pod Meets World podcast, Boy Meets World alumni Danielle Fishel, Rider Strong, and Will Friedle delve into the sensitive topics of grooming, childhood sexual abuse, and their profound impacts on victims. They are joined by marriage and family therapist Kati Morton for an insightful discussion."
The episode was focused on Peck during his time on Boy Meets World, and who in 2004 pleaded no contest to charges of committing a lewd act against a child on the show.
Following his conviction, he received a 16-month prison sentence and was mandated to register as a sex offender. Peck is also involved in Quiet on Set: The Dark Side of Kids TV, a forthcoming four-part ID docuseries that exposes the toxic and hazardous environment prevalent on the sets of Dan Schneider’s Nickelodeon children’s shows during the late 1990s and early 2000s.

The Pod Meets World podcast usually features Friedle, Strong and Fishel recapping episodes of the show along with behind-the-scenes info on what filming the show was really like.
But they diverged today with a different format after being asked to provide a statement about Peck for Quiet On Set, deciding to use their podcast episode instead.
“I didn’t really go to parties. I didn’t really do that stuff. But I was working a lot after Boy Meets World, and this guy had so ingratiated himself into my life, I took him to three shows after Boy Meets World,” Friedle told the co-hosts.
“This was the type of thing where the person he presented was this great, funny guy who was really good at his job, and you wanted to hang out with … I saw him every day, hung out with him every day, talked to him every day.”
Strong said he Peck and also spent a lot of time together outside of work, aside from the 20-year age difference between the two.
