Tito Jackson, a member of the legendary Jackson 5, dies at 70. 

Jackson's passing was first reported by a longtime family friend. 

Tito co-founded the Jackson 5, sparking "Jacksonmania" in the '70s.

The Jackson 5 produced four consecutive Billboard Hot 100 No. 1 hits. 

Tito was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. 

He pursued a solo career, releasing albums in 2016 and 2021. 

Tito recently collaborated with Brazilian singer Natalia Damini for a song. 

Tito’s brothers, Jackie and Marlon, continue performing as "The Jacksons." 

Tito is survived by his three sons, Taj, Taryll, and TJ Jackson.
