After the US Foreign Agent Registration Act (Fara), from last few days South Korea’s political parties have been trying to come on a conclusion for a law on foreign agents model.

Sue Mi Terry is been accused of acting as an unregistered agent of South Korea, by the United States of the former Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) analyst and former White House national security officials.

A proposal for an amendment to the South Korean Criminal Code, introducing a law similar to the US Fara by a member of the Democratic Party of Korea – the country’s main opposition force Country, While South Korean government and opposition figures exchange accusations about their personal contacts with the former official

As announced by the federal prosecutor’s office in New York On July 17 A former Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) analyst and expert indicated on North Korea. It claimed to act as an agent on behalf of the South Korean government in exchange for luxury dinners and gifts.

Sue Mi Terry is currently a senior fellow at the Council of Foreign Relations think tank

As per the allegations,  five years after leaving the post from CIA, Terry began working as a “foreign agent” starting in June 2013.

Sue Mi Terry exchanged the sensitive information in return for many luxuries like Louis Vuitton bags, a Dolce and Gabbana jacket, several dinners at starred restaurants and payments of around 37 thousand dollars in total.

During the Obama administration, Sue Mi Terry began working as an analyst for East Asia at the CIA in 2001, and then became director for Japan, Korea and Oceania at the US National Security Council.
