Marjorie Taylor Greene, a strong supporter of Donald Trump, criticized far-right media figure Laura Loomer for making a racist comment about Vice President Kamala Harris.
The post, shared by Loomer on X (formerly Twitter), made derogatory remarks about Harris’ Indian heritage.
Greene condemned the post, labeling it as “appalling and extremely racist.” She emphasized that this kind of behavior does not reflect Republican values, MAGA, or Donald Trump himself.
In her statement, Greene said: “This type of behavior should not be tolerated ever.”
She urged Loomer to take down the offensive post and reiterated her stance to reporters at the U.S. Capitol, stating,
“Her rhetoric and her tone do not match the base, do not match MAGA, and do not match most Republicans I know. I am completely denouncing it; I’m over it.”
Despite being a controversial figure herself, Greene was clear in distancing her views from Loomer’s remarks.
