The bloody, horror-inspired music video for Sabrina Carpenter’s single “Taste” is a gory yet humorous work of art.

The video, which costars Jenna Ortega, takes viewers on a crazy rollercoaster as the two get into a violent yet darkly hilarious argument about a man. lets know both positive and negative sides of this video.

Positive side of  “Taste”

With whimsical twists, the video reimagines some of Hollywood’s most recognizable horror movies, boasting a wealth of legendary movie allusions. Carpenter’s video pays homage to the greatest in the genre, from Psycho’s shower scene to Kill Bill’s eye-patch-wearing nurse.

“Taste” begins with a parental and viewer advisory warning, cautioning that it contains explicit content of “graphic violence” a cautionary tale not to be ignored. Still, the film combines humor and terror to create cartoonish spectacles out of gory events rather than being overtly scary.

A large portion of the video’s base pays homage to the darkly humorous chaos of Death Becomes Her, a film in which Goldie Hawn and Meryl Streep engage in an unending love triangle over a guy after ingesting a potion that grants them perpetual life.

Negative side of  “Taste”

Though the “Taste” music video by Sabrina Carpenter is a visual treat for cinema aficionados, it may not be worthy for a decent society. few elements in the video conveys a wrong message. specially the last scene of funeral.

The video continues where both the females who are fighting to stay with a man but, when accidently the man gets killed due to a mistake of these females. This depicts the dark side of the modern society, where men are the easy target to destroy.

Now as the story continues, in the funeral scene, the ones who were close to the man get affected they start to cry. but these two women’s act like nothing has happened. they were smiling as nothing wrong was done.

This video can promote female to treat men like an object. where there are many cases where mans are mentally abused by women and play the victim card.

Today Men’s need to understand this dark reality of the society. They must stay away from these destructive elements. because if anything wrong happens to men, the toxic women who is responsible for it may walk away easily, but the closed ones who truly love you will say behind missing and crying for you.
